| Just as the cats of the Clans that we know have the Warrior Code, the Cats who look to MoonClan have the Warrior's laws. |
Law 1 - Trust in MoonClan with your life. MoonClan have more wisdom than any living cat, and deserve to be treated with the upmost respect.
Law 2 - Be loyal to your Clan over all others. Becoming a loner is acceptable, but becoming a kittypet or having relationships with cats of other Clans must be avoided.
Law 3 - No cat should spread rumours or tell stories of things that are not true or certain. Many a cat has gone crazy from listening to too many false things.
Law 4 - Never trespass in another Clan's territory. MoonClan have granted your Clan their own territory that is large enough to support your Clan.
Law 5 - Prey you catch is only to be eaten by your Clan. Never play with your food or feed other Clans with prey off your territory.
Law 6 - Kits may only become apprentices when they reach 6 moons old or more. Additionally, they must undergo at least six moons of training or have three assessments before becoming a warrior
Law 7 - A deputy must have had at least one apprentice. When the Leader dies, the deputy becomes leader.
Law 8 - A leader's word must be obeyed. Only the Laws and MoonClan's word stand above a leader's word.
Law 9 - The Warrior's Law must be obeyed. Every Law is punishable. The first three Law's are punishable by exile.
